Please note that accommodation tax applies to your stay.

About the Tax

From April 2026, the Hokkaido Accommodation Tax will be applied to stays in Makkari Village.

Unlike Niseko Town, only the Hokkaido accommodation tax applies in Makkari.

Tax Amount (Reference)

Hokkaido Accommodation Tax (per person per night):

• Up to ¥19,999: ¥100

• ¥20,000 – ¥49,999: ¥200

• ¥50,000 and above: ¥500

Payment Method

• Until October 31:
  The tax will be collected separately on-site.

• From November 1 onward:
  The tax will be included in the accommodation fee at the time of booking.

Important Notes

• Tax is charged per person, per night

• Applies to all guests

• Based on accommodation fee (excluding meals and consumption tax)
